MERRY CHRISTMAS

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Remember we are closed Monday and Friday of next week for the holidays.

Wishing you the warmest and merriest of Christmases. Take time to teach your children the reason we celebrate. Jesus, Lord of all came to us!

Join us for worship Christmas Eve at 4, 6, or 8 for traditional worship or 10 PM for modern worship. Nursery available.

Sunday morning, Christmas Day there is one worship service at 10 AM (no classes).

There has been an outbreak of the dreaded virus known as "late tuition" this year and it seems to be on the increase. In order to combat this outbreak, the GTKF Agency, (Grow To Know Finance Agency (Kayla)) is issuing this financial public health alert:

Notices are coming out to anyone who has a balance on their account. Small, or less small, all of these little bits together are adding up to accounting headaches. Do your part to combat this ill by finalizing all 2011 payments before 12-31-11. We need to end our year by breaking even and you too can be part of the solution.

IF you are leaving for Christmas vacation, your tuition is due prior to your last day of attendance. Given how small our projected attendance is for the 22nd-31st that is most of you so please, please submit your tuition ahead of time. We are switching to a Friday due date (the Friday before the week attended) and increasing late fees on 1-1-12 so it will be good practice for you. Don't forget the online pay option.

If you are receiving DSS subsidy and have not been asked to sign forms for November attendance this means that your child's name did not appear on invoices from DSS.

PLEASE contact your case worker immediately to rectify this situation. Generally, when it is their mistake, they back pay so there is no lapse in service. Be sure all your required forms are up to date and you are actively eligible. If not, parents must co-pay all amounts denied by DSS. If they have denied all or part of your claim there is an appeal process. The sooner you contact them to settle the issue the less likely you are to get stuck with additional co-pay.

Here's to a zero deficit Christmas!

Go to www.schweitzerumc.org and look for the link at the bottom that says "Give Online"

Set up a profile -this is required for preschool families to participate.
Go down below the donation options to Grow To Know
When you enter your payment amount there be sure to put your name in the box next to it. (If you are a grandparent making a payment put "your name for child's last name", example: SMITH for Brown) The same would be true for parent's who have a child with a different surname.

It will look like this:

Grow To Know Preschool

 -Preschool Tuition Payments:

Grow To Know Preschool

-Preschool Tuition Payments:

Make payments from your checking or savings account with no additional fees.

Credit/debit card payments will be available with a 2.75% fee added. The selection for paying that fee says "optional" but if not paid by you while you are making the payment that fee will be added to your preschool account. It would be much easier for us if you would pay that as you make your payment.
Don't be confused by the word donation on your payment summary page. We are working with the page designer to change that wording. Anything given via the Grow To Know section will be applied to tuition and fee payments.
