Candy Coburn Live in Concert

Candy Coburn Live in Concert

It's Labor Day weekend, and that means that it's time to kickoff the 2011 Labor Day telethon benefiting Jerry's Kids and the local MDA chapter. Candy Cobrun's going to be there, too--she's performing a free concert right there in the middle of it all. This nationally-known artist has appeared with stars such as Brooks and Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, Black Shelton, Josh Turner and Lady Antebellum. Want more information? Call 417-239-3002.

We are looking for a couple of good sturdy riding toys to add to our gym. Angeles tricycles, Little Tykes or Step Two "cozy coups," trucks, or wagons. Articles must be chip free and new enough that we don't have to worry about paint content, etc. Call me if you think you have one to donate.
We could also use some good playground balls.

OPEN HOUSE

Don't forget. OPEN HOUSE is tomorrow evening at 6:30. Be sure to attend-even if you have been here before. We need to cover some paperwork needs and new information. Please arrive early so your child can be signed in into the gym and you can be in your seat in Memorial Hall so we can start on time.

See you there!

New and returning students who begin morning preschool sessions will pay their monthly fee with the increase included on their first day of attendance. Remember fees for that smidgen of August and all of September are just one monthly fee, so you will pay on August 25th or 26th and then again on OCTOBER 1st and the 1st of every month following. Any days we attend into June are paid in full with the May tuition payment.

Full time students, since our new year begins on a Thursday we won't switch gears midweek.
For the sake of bookkeeping (and my sanity) fees will change the first full week of September (Monday the 5th).
With the "recession"still inflicting pain upon us all we are finding that some of our gift funding and now some state funding is less than projected this summer. In order to buffer against this and the ever present possibility of insurance cost increasing in November we will be doing a slight fee increase for this year. I had truly fought against doing so but our non-profit lifestyle necessitates it. We must break even.

Fees for this year will be
Academic classes:                          (Mrs. Amy and Ms. Tammy's morning classes)
MWF $122
T TH  $102
M-F   $224

Full Time $137
no change in drop in fees, enrollment fees or Stretch N Grow : )
The Lead Teachers and I just met to set the themes for next year!!! So excited.

Our theme will be A Window Into Our World with monthly themes like:
Friends and Faces...Fall Forests...Fun, Feasts and Family... no they don't all start with an "F" ~just those three actually.

ANYWAY, we have an absolute TON of fun planned for this new year.

The fun starts MONDAY with all of the morning class kiddos coming to Open House! 6:30--be on time.
All the full day student come Tuesday the 23rd.

Can't wait!

We have seeds left from Earth Day if you want to stop and pick them up. They are in a basket on my desk. Chard can be planted now as well as a few other salad and greens options.
First come, first served.
