Please join us for a beautiful Good Friday Service at 7:00 PM the 22nd.
The CHILDREN'S Easter Celebration is Saturday from 8:00-2:00. Food, puppets, eggs, you name it. A good learning experience and lots of fun to focus children on God for the holiday.
Easter Services are at 8:20, 9:45 and 11:00.

Michelle from Parents as Teachers has done a fabulous job screening our children.
Of course she was very complementary of your children and their development.
She has asked that we urge you to complete the parent survey. (Her pay depends upon having that paperwork and we really want her to be paid for her services.)

This year's Earth Day is being swallowed up by Easter which is only fitting. Celebrate the Creator of all first! Since it lands on Good Friday, we will be fitting in where we can all month (it is the April theme after all).
Packets have been ordered for Earth Day goodies for quite some time but have not arrived so we will give out Earth Day bags at a later date. Next weekend at City Wide Play Day we will be leading a gardening activity. Bring the kiddos to Fassnight Park Saturday morning the 30th! Watch for a handout on this fun event next week. (Better yet, Dad take the kids to play day and MOM sign up for the Women's Retreat here at SUMC -Friday night and Saturday.)

PS
PLEASE full time parents sign your child in and out immediately upon entering the building to drop off or pick up. It is crucial as we use those logs in emergencies to be sure all children are accounted for!
DSS recipients must have absolutely accurate logs to remain eligible.
Please be on time to pick your child up-remember you are charged for late pick up times.
