Be sure to tune in to one of the major radio stations, KY3 or channel 10 for their closing list tomorrow. Remember if Springfield Schools are out the morning classes (Mrs. Amy and Ms. Tammy are automatically cancelled).

If it is so bad that our staff can't physically get here to open the school then we would cancel full day classes. This hardly ever happens.

If utilities are out here at the church we would also have to cancel. This has only happened one time in 12 years and that was just the phone system, so I am confident we'll be fine.

You can save the school closing list to the homescreen of your smartphone from www.ky3.com/weather/closings .

This blog will be updated as things develop.

Now that I have your attention, in correcting a small little insignificant sewer issue it was discovered that there is really a very big sewer issue that involves digging up the entire line.

So, why do you need to know this?

Today the line will be cut into through the parking lot. You will need to enter and exit from Sunshine Street only. You will not be able to drive through to Stanford or Meadowview until the sewer is fixed and the parking lot is repaired.

Ashley is out ill all week. Please use only the 217 extension this week and any time before 8:30 or after 3:00 or weekends. Calls to 217 are forwarded to my mobile phone so I can always be reached where ever I am and then reach classroom teachers. Please leave a voicemail message when given the option as I might be on the line with another parent and can then call you right back.

Leave a number to call with each message as forwarded calls all come up on the caller ID as a church extension number. If I am answering offsite or from a classroom I won't have access to files for numbers so help us out here and always leave a call back number.

THANKS,

Kayla
