Rest assured your children know exactly what to do in an emergency-even when they are fast asleep.

Our smoke detector and alarm system went off in the middle of naptime today. Everyone was out of the building no questions asked in about 2 minutes! They were calm and did exactly as we drill every month.

The belt in the washing machine broke and melted causing smoke. The fire engine came and checked everything out and made sure there were no additional problems like wiring issues.

They gave all the kids fire fighter badge stickers.

So if you have unusually sleepy children with very dirty socks, you will know why. They were fantastic and did great in a "real" emergency.

I found a neat Green electronic newsletter called The Ideal Bite. They have a link posted to a guide for Green household cleaners that I thought I would share with you:

Summer is over and classes are coming back today, tomorrow and Wednesday! It's so good to see everyone.

IMPORTANT REMINDER

Fall rates are in effect as of today: Full time classes are $130 per week (including Kindergarten) Daily drop in rates are $35 per week. Academic classes are now MWF $115 per month and T TH is $95.

Stretch N Grow Activity Fees did not change-$22 for full time students and $14 for morning students. You may include your activity fee with your tuition on one check.

If you have not paid your registration fee please do so with your tuition.

It is going to be a fantastic year exploring our World of Wonder!

Drop your children off for Stretch N Grow in the gym at 6:45.

Tonight is Open House for full day students. You may begin signing children in for Stretch N Grow time in the gym at 6:45. Parent orientation begins promptly at 7:00 in Memorial Hall.

Academic classes will hold their Open House next Tuesday the 18th.
